”Whether you think you can or you can’t you are right” Henry Ford.
‘The word “can’t” makes strong people weak, blinds people who can see, saddens happy people, turns brave people into cowards, robs a genius of their brilliance, causes rich people to think poor, and limits the achievements of that great person living inside us “ Robert Kiyosaki.
I have removed “I can’t” from my mind
When I started my blog I did not know anything about blogging. I have a passion for sharing knowledge, but I was not even sure whether anyone will read my posts.
I started with 0-1 reader a day despite all the efforts that I was doing to get readers.
I sent emails to my friends and told them to click the link. Instead of clicking the link they replied to my email saying “thank you.” Thank you did not help me as I wanted them to read and get inspired. I also needed some views and likes.
I posted my articles on Facebook, nobody clicked the link, they just clicked like on Facebook. By month 4 I could see that I was failing but I was not going to give up. I told my husband “I will do this thing until I am successful.”
I continued writing and posting articles believing that one day I will have readers. I still believe that even today.
Imagine if I have said I can’t continue doing this, its waste of time and knowledge.
You could have not found this blog and these great articles that have inspired you to be successful.
You can remove ”I can’t” from your mind too.
From now on Know that there is nothing you cannot do. Never say you can’t because by saying that word you are already doubting yourself and submitting to defeat.
Believe in yourself
You are no different from all the successful people you see around. The difference is your attitude. Change your attitude and see all the opportunities you have never seen before. What is interesting is, you will notice that they have been there all along, it’s you who have been blind.
What do I mean?
Don’t be confused I am not saying if you have a positive attitude you will win all the time.
I am saying if you don’t win turn that negative into a win. Do not give up. Be positive and believe you can do it. “It is not because you can’t it is because you are not trying.”
Make failure your friend, as I always say, in business failure is good. But when it actually happens it’s hard to see the good part of failure.
When I actually fail I get so confused I feel like I am standing on the edge of the cliff and just about to fall. To get motivated I read business books.
These have been my true pillars. Another strategy that has taken me through failure is this quote “I failed 10,000 times” said Thomas Edison.
Whenever I recite this quote, the situation changes completely, I start to face my fears, learn from my failure, take action and start the process again with a different wise approach. I never say I can’t I always say I will do it until I can.
All successful people say you will never know success if you have not failed.
Can you see that I can’t have no room in your house if you don’t let him?
Perfect Practice makes perfect
It is always best to qualify the saying practice make perfect with perfect practice because practicing negative things will also become perfect.
For example: If you repeat the same mistake over and over truly YOU WILL BECOME PERFECT IN THEM. Remember the saying “garbage in garbage out.” Therefore practice makes perfect whatever you do repeatedly either negative or positive.
If you feed your mind with I can’t, rest assured you will never achieve anything. Similarly, if you replace it with I can. You will succeed in everything you do. The power is in your thoughts. It is your choice to remove the word totally from your vocabulary.
To actually start the process of changing is challenging. You have been using the word for a very long time and this will not be easy. You need discipline and faith. Have confidence and believe in yourself.
Good luck as you start a new journey of positive thinking.
