Tomorrow!! The Most Dangerous Word To Your Success

Today I want us to talk about the word tomorrow or later. Some call it procrastination but I don’t want to use this long word I want to use the everyday word that is used by all of us.

If you look back and count the things that you have posted to tomorrow you will see that it is the most destructive word in an entrepreneur’s vocabulary. It is a thief that has robbed you your dreams, talents and accomplishment.

This is what Robert Kiyosaki said about the word. “The most life destroying word of all is the word tomorrow “

The people who use this word  never achieve anything as their it never comes.

In so many cases when you hear someone saying I will do it tomorrow it means I am not able.

Tomorrow can leave us feeling helpless, the scary thing is it seems harmless to use this word.

Tomorrow never comes

Friends let me tell you something. There will never be a moment in your life more precious than the one you are living in.  Take this opportunity to become what you want to become. Who really knows how many tomorrow’s you will get?

The last thing you want to do is look back in your life and wish you had the courage to do what you wanted to do.

Waiting for tomorrow is waiting for nothing

That is the difference between “I am” and “I wish I was”

It is the difference between dreaming and living.

If you are a “later” person start learning the habits of committing a date instead of saying tomorrow.  Committing a date will encourage you to take action and to plan.

Common Excuses

There are all kinds of justification to put things off for tomorrow, the tricky way about this word  is most justifications are valid. For example;

  • I will do it tomorrow today my hands are full.
  • I will start when I am XX years old
  • This is not the right time I will start after my retirement when I have enough time.
  • I am still raising my children will start as soon as they grow up
  • Once I graduate I I’ll be ready to start my own business
  • I will start next year this year I am pushing ABC.
  • I will be free the whole week that is the right time to start.
  • As soon as I have paid all my debts I will  leave this job.

Who can argue with the above justifications? Nobody. But the truth is the above statements are the reason why your dreams are still in your head, and they will never materialize because your tomorrow will never come.

The secret of success is STARTING.  NEVER EVER wait for the right time it will never come. You will find good valid reasons every day.

Sometimes there is no next time, no time outs, no second chances, sometimes it’s now or never” Alan Bennet

The danger of tomorrow

Tomorrow encourages you to be happy where you are, promising you that you have got your whole life to get where you want to be.

It tells you that one day you will start and as for now, you can just wait.

Can be worse than failing because with later you never start.

It means you put down your best ideas for a better time that never comes

Most people who are held hostage by fear use the word, knowing that they will never start. They use the word as an excuse to never really do what they were meant to do.

I like these quotes

Remember the past, plan for the future, but live for today, because yesterday is gone and tomorrow never comes” unknown

“Never wait for tomorrow what if tomorrow never comes” Elvis Presley

There are three types of people in this world according to Shiv Khera the Author of You Can Win

People who make things HAPPEN

Those who watch things HAPPEN and

The ones  who wonder what HAPPENED
