Photo Challenge: I’d Rather Be an Introvert

Standing there in a long  Que at the bank . My introvert nature taking its place. it was a very hot day The heat  was made worse by this Extrovert who want to chat with every body, complaining about  the heat. When other extroverts try to comment on the heat  topic. He has already  introduced a new topic about cabinet reshuffle .   What a long  day I said to myself .

I m an Introvert  in an extrovert  workplace

Just when I thought I had  taken a break from my boss. An extrovert who takes control of all the talking in the meetings and make me feel like an idiot in front of the clients.  Most of the time I will leave the meeting without saying a word,

He  would cover all the areas including  the areas I have prepared well. With my introverted nature I will be paralyzed  with the fear of talking  and end up with a mental block . I speak well when I have prepared,  I have tried to highlight this to my boss by it seemed like when he see people he can’t stop talking. Sadly It is not easy to be an introvert in the corporate world

Introvertion can become a stumbling block to your career progression.  learders  need to be aware that we were fearfully and wonderfully created by  God for a purpose and that  extroverts and introverts together make the world.

My boss think that  I have confidence issues.   I wish I could convince him that I don’t have  confidence issues  I am  an introvert  and introverts are quite  in nature but they have strengths too. I am a good Listner , I am good at putting my thoughts in writing  and I am a good decision maker because I listen

Sometimes  when I can’t express myself in meetings I wish I was an extrovert  but the experience I have with  my boss  confirms that even extroverts have speaking challenges.

I would rather keep my introverted nature than being a talkative extrovert
